New Profession “Exorcist”: Powerful Abilities to Control Corpses, Possess Bodies, and Revive from the Brink of Death
In the new update, a group of mysterious individuals known as Exorcists is also investigating the cause of the malevolent occurrences in Heronville. They generously share their unique abilities with Survivors eager to acquire new powers. Certified Exorcists possess exclusive gourd-shaped equipment that stores a portion of the Blue Tide organization they have tamed through their powers. This equipment can be manipulated via talismans to launch attacks against enemies.
Exorcist abilities allow them not only to control defeated Infected as allies, but also to perform “Possession” after taking down opposing Survivors, transforming into them and gaining all their appearance, weapons, and abilities at the moment of defeat. Additionally, when an Exorcist is downed by an enemy, they can activate a Yin-Yang formation. If they can defeat an enemy within the formation’s duration, they can absorb that enemy’s life force to revive themselves from a severely injured state.
As a newly launched combat profession, to allow Survivors to experience the unique abilities of Exorcist firsthand, the game offers a promotional event where players can transition to an Exorcist and later revert to their original profession completely free of charge. Guided by strange dreams, we drove to Heronville but encountered an accident along the way. By chance, we met an Exorcist who called herself “Ling Yao”. Together, we delved deep into the long-forgotten underground crypt of the village, inadvertently becoming the main character in a mysterious ritual, where a bride in red awaits us. In this newly rediscovered village, the advance team has informed us that the area has been severely contaminated by the Blue Tide and houses entirely new types of Infected that have never been seen before. Some enemies can conceal themselves and approach from the shadows to launch surprise attacks; others possess high mobility within the Blue Tide, and some can even execute unfathomable spatial movements. After acquiring certain items, it seems we can summon even more bizarre and threatening monsters from within the village. At the same time, Exorcists diligently researching the infected in the area are providing Survivors with new equipment to combat these monsters. In this upgraded Blue Tide survival exploration gameplay, further immerse yourself in an imaginative world filled with folklore and supernatural elements!
The mysteries left in Heronville go far beyond the bride in red and the enigmatic wedding ceremony beneath the underground palace. Through meticulous investigations by the Exorcists and the Trade Federation, more strange cases from the village are gradually coming to light. In search of the truth from years past, at the request of the Federation, Survivors must not only gather clues in various ways but also make further judgments to eliminate fabricated evidence and uncover hidden key details, in order to fully restore the truth of the story.
