Enlist for the United 1944 Closed BetaNovarama Unveils a New Video Featuring the Player Journey in United 1944Barcelona, Spain, April 28th, 2023 – Killsquad developer Novarama today announced that United 1944, their recently revealed multiplayer FPS that combines shooting, strategy and crafting, will do its first Steam Closed Beta on the weekend of May 19th-21st. The Closed Beta Phase will be playable for 4 hours per day, giving players a sneak peek at the game in preparation for the full commercial launch on PC later this year. Squad up in 16v16 base conquest matches in the WW2 theaters of North Africa, with more maps, such as France and Russia coming soon. This first beta will let players experience the thrilling Domination mode, where you must scavenge for resources, craft weapons, find enemy intel documents, establish outposts, and destroy all enemy bases. Players can now request access to the beta on the United 1944 Steam page. Please note that doing a request DOES NOT guarantee that you’ll have access to the Beta, as players will be selected randomly. If you don’t get in this time, you’ll still have an opportunity to play, as more beta tests will follow in the coming months. Domination takes more than being a good marksman, as you’ll have to work together to scavenge for supplies, fortify your HQ, defend outposts, and craft your arsenal if you’re to win the final battle. There are no predetermined classes in United 1944, so you’ll have to evolve your playstyle to your team’s needs through an open-ended skill tree during each match. Mix and match over 40 abilities across skill trees for engineer, recon, sharpshooter, explorer and support roles. Become a spy when night falls, or a sniper from the rooftop when the new day dawns. Maybe you want to stay out of the frontlines and focus on crafting medicine to heal your teammates. Create your own fighter to help turn the tide of war! With a dynamic day/night cycle, dense cities where every building is traversable and offers unique lines of sight, and 18 weapons ranging from improvised rifles and makeshift shotguns, to classics such as M1 Garand, MP40, Kar98k, and many more period appropriate firearms, United 1944 seeks to offer the most immersive take on WWII battles yet.
