Looking at this site? Want to own it? Contact us today. The two people responsible for this site, Tim Robertson (me) and Sam Levin, simply do not have the time to run this site. So rather than just let it languish, I would rather see it go to someone else who can do something with it.

What to do

What to do

When Sam Levin and I started AppMinute.com, we had some pretty cool plans for the site. The problem, however, is I already run a website, MyMac.com, which sees more traffic in an hour than AppMinute.com sees in a month. That’s not a knock on AppMinute, mind you, but the reality of running a website for almost 15 years. MyMac has a long history, a well established readership, and takes most of my free time to run. AppMinute.com has none of that, just an idea of what it could be.

It started out as a news aggregator for iPhone app news. The problem with that, honestly, is I could not personally devote the time to it as needed. Afterwards, I turned it into a video site, reposting iPhone videos from YouTube. While easier to do, it is also somewhat pointless. Anyone visiting AppMinute could also do a quick search for “iPhone” on YouTube and see the same, and more, videos there. That quickly grew boring for me, and even that took too much time.

So we come to a cross roads. What to do with AppMinute.com? It’s a viable domain name, and because it does not refer to the iPhone, it could be about any app, be it a computer or mobile phone variety. It does not have a regular viewership, nor does it have any real personality.

So what to do?

I am open to any and all ideas. Preferably those that would not monopolize my or Sam Levin’s time. Neither of us have the time needed to run this site as it should be run. And because it is not generating any money yet, neither can we simply hire someone to run it for us.

So we ask you, the readers, to submit any ideas to News@AppMinute.com. We are open to any good offers.
